Does Moto Z come up with notification lite at all?
I've heard 2 dissimilar answers, can anyone who owns one confirm this pls.

i've noticed moo g4 plus in that location is no mention of led light simply when charging there'south a hidden low-cal, see link beneath. Perhaps the aforementioned coud be truthful for moto z.

Turn phone off and insert charger.

I have had a dim ruby light illuminate on the right side of the finger impress scanner closer to the right edge and then the scanner but no straight on the edge. I have the white Z, so the areas are much more axiomatic. I was baffled equally to why it was illuminated or exactly what information technology was and shortly after seeing it it was gone. I thought for a moment it was some sort of IR affair, but no idea. Very dim merely conspicuously visible equally a red lite in a dark room. I've tried to run across what I could do to make it reappear only no inkling what brought it on.

I have a 2014 Moto X and my IR sensors do this. I'm positive that's what you're seeing.

Possible notification light on MOTO Z Play

I tried to flash TWRP recovery of other devices into my MOTO Z Play hoping to find a way to root. However all the recoveries of previous MOTO devices are not compatible, and after flashing a small white light located right to the speaker bar blinked. Don't know wether this low-cal was evoked by TWRP recovery or fault in fastboot, and why it didn't appear when phone was on.

I've seen the same white lite later updating last nighttime. Information technology seems to be like to the green low-cal on the Moto x 2014 I have. So maybe after cracking the bootloader unlock code and rooting there will exist some function. But it probably won't piece of work every bit you are hoping. But equally has been mentioned it's been this manner for years on these devices.

I don't know why Motorola didn't just activate by default, perplexing decision to include some sort of notification light but non actuate information technology.

I don't like LED Notifications, but as Moto Display doesn't keep the screen on when notifications are received at to the lowest degree the LED should be working...

I don't like LED Notifications, only as Moto Display doesn't continue the screen on when notifications are received at least the LED should exist working...

That'due south 1 of the main reasons it should have notification light.

There is a calorie-free!

My telephone went down to 0% and when I plugged it in a white calorie-free started to flash. Still flashing now.

I have the moto Z and can ostend the white light, I accept seen it when flashing a firmware and rebooting I retrieve.
But is like mentioned, back of something.

I have the Moto Z Strength. It is correct near the speaker grill on the correct side. Simply got a security update for nougat and it rebooted and for a second there was a tiny white light there. Kinda similar the droid turbo I had, but that didn't turn on till I dropped it in water lol.
